Dhoni - Your Time has come

Everything has a life cycle irrespective of live and dead; birth, growth, maturity and decline. Being a person criticized veteran players like Sachin, Dravid, Ganguly and many other cricketers for their ill performance and age - time has come for Dhoni to resign from captaincy by shouldering the responsibility of consistent failures.
A few days ago former India cricketer Mohinder Amarnath called for the removal of Mahendra Singh Dhoni from captaincy. He pointed out that Dhoni's record is good at home pitches only like any other Indian captain. It was in response to India's successive overseas failures Test rubbers in England (0-4) in 2011 and Australia (0-4) in 2011-12 and more recently in South Africa (0-1) and New Zealand (0-1).
India's last overseas Test win came against the West Indies at Kingston in June 2011. Dhoni's dismal away record stands at five wins out of 23 Tests, while losing 11 games."A captain has to lead from the front. Not a single Test captain in the world bats at number seven. What kind of example you are going to set. I sincerely feel that this is high time to relieve him from Test captaincy and although he is a match winner in ODIs, they should look at an option in shorter format as well," said Mohinder. Earlier Saurav described           his leadership as "obnoxious" and Dravid also lashed out against Dhoni.

Sports symbolizes the youth and this reflects through the spirit of young people. Many cricketers consider Virat Kohli, the promising cricketer as the obvious choice for captaincy. When team India is heading towards next world cup, need of this hour is to build confidence among the players.

"When the captain indulges in blase statements like "there is plenty of improvement’’ and refuses to acknowledge that things are bad then one can safely say that the losing trend will continue. The bottom line is the results and it is time Dhoni accepts that defending a team that has flopped time and again makes for a hollow argument" sify reports.
Whatever may be the situation, a leader has the moral responsibility to answer for all the failures. When we have talented and capable players to perform this duty much better than failed Dhoni - he should accept his failures and ready to take the backseat.
