End[o(f)]sulfn

Support Ban of Endosulfan.
We are going to witness yet another Stockholm Convention meet in Geneva from April 25 to 29 to discuss, among other things, a global ban on the pesticide endosulfan.Eighty-one countries had either banned Endosulfan or decided to phase out its use. It is apparent that India iwill be in one side and Kerala in other corner in this matter if the things progress like this.
Central Government intentionally closing their eyes before the victims of endosulfan in Kasarkod due to the reason - India exports about 50 per cent of its production of endosulfan. It is sure that the manufacturers are pressing the Union government to oppose the move for a global ban. They say that the ban would deprive the farmers of a cheap and effective broad spectrum pesticide.
But as people from Kerala, We can't close our eyes before the pathetic plight of thousands of children and their families in Kasargod and the move of Government to go with 'no ban attitude' in favor of manufactures.  It is our duty to ensure that the ministry does not succumb to the pressure of corporate lobby,as the chemical corporations are much worried about their profit than the safety of farm workers and consumers.

Let's raise our voie for a common cause.

Let us join together and fight to eliminate it completely from India!

Eagerly looking to witness a positive shift of Government decision toward endodulfn.

Happy Easter

He came, Lived, Crucified and died as a human. But he resurrected after 3 days, by breaking the powerful bonds of Roman Empire.

The Great Man in the history…..!!

Jesus had no servants… yet they called Him Master……..

He had no degree …..Yet they called Him Teacher….

He had no medicines…….he called him Healer….

He won no military battles…….yet he conquered the world.

He committed no crime……..yet they crucified him …..

He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today…

Many persons loved us. Many people liked us.

But only one died for us. He is JESUS CHRIST.

He is not here. He resurrected.

All the wishes of Easter.

Call Back Gandhi

We have witnesses the importance of Gandhian Ideology and it proved that it works still. Followed by Gandhian model strives in Middle East, Anna Hassare again propagated the power of Satyagraha. An all time Great Gandhi. Some time I doubt about the comment of Einsteen". “Generations to come will scarce believe that such a one as this ever in flesh and blood walked upon this earth.”. But I believe. Jesus was born before two centuries, even now people carry his love in their hearts.
Yes. Gandhi was an outstanding leader, simple strategies and great actions.  Tagore called 'Mahatma' and Subash called 'Father of India'. Not only ,we people of India called him Bapu

I think I should write something about Mahatma Gandhi and Indian National Movement. I consider it as a privilege apart from my study --- because it is a topic of interest to me.

Born at Porbandhar Gujarath in 1869 October 2. Moved to South Africa and fought against apartheid and cruelty to Indians. He has started a news paper named ' Indian Opinion' in South Africa to propagate the message of freedom and independence. He proved in Petersmaryburg that he will practice what he preaches.  The concept put forwarded by Him - Satyagraha caught wide attention. He became the leader of Indian gradually not suddenly.

He led the civil disobedience movement South Africa very successfully. wl cntnue..........

Anna - Gandhi of Modern India

The dream of India as a strong nation will not be realised without self-reliant, self-sufficient villages, this can be achieved only through social commitment & involvement of the common man."

- Anna Hazare
After more than ten decades, an Indian Anna Hassare proves that Gandhi still lives in the mind of people. His march towards curbing corruption two reached a new mile stone. Not by firing weapons but by the fighting weapon - Satyagraha. -its truth and non - violence. My Gandhi, You still lives in the mind of people.
Right to information, Model Village development, Water shed development, Anti corruption bill.........the list prolongs in the book of Anna. His fasting in the hot Janta Mantir boiled the hot seats. It forced Manmohan and Gandhi to raise from their chariots to see the pulse of people. Now Lok Janpal Bill (Anti Corruption bill ) is the hot subjects in malls and markets.
Soldier to social reformer. Then he paced the steps very fast like Philosopher, Right to information activist, crusader of non violence, visionary etc.
His tryst with the army came when many Indian soldiers became martyrs in the Indo-China War of 1962 and the Government of India had appealed to young Indians to join the Indian army. Being passionate about patriotism, he promptly responded to the appeal and joined the Indian Army in 1963. During his 15-year tenure as a soldier, he was posted to several states like Sikkim, Bhutan, Jammu-Kashmir, Assam, Mizoram, Leh and Ladakh and braved challenging weathers.
The changes in the economics brought all the villagers under one roof of unity and people voluntarily contributed in terms of labour and money to build a school, a hostel, a temple and other buildings. Mass marriages, grains bank, dairy, cooperative society, self-help groups for women and youth mandals helped develop the village in all aspects and gave a new face to it.

Hazare opines that proper planning of natural and human resources can result in the betterment of a person, area, village instead of exploiting such resources. He says, ``Today we all are exploiting the earthen resources like petrol, diesel, kerosene, coal and water. This can never be termed as perennial development as it is going to lead a state of destruction one day. The sources of energy are limited and hence I am concerned about the next generations. Today many of the villages of almost every state are feeling the brunt of water shortage. Building concrete jungles does not mean development as Gandhiji had rightly said.
Creation of a human idol should be the main objective rather than creating towering buildings. Surely, one needs to live for oneself and the family but simultaneously one owes something to your neighbour, your village and your nation too. For this, you need an idol who could lead to this goal. Such leadership is not created by power or money but only by virtues like pure thinking, matching action and willingness to sacrifice. It is the thumb rule of farming that ?When a seed buries itself, it leads to a better yield. in order to get better yield of grains, one single grain needs to burry itself.
Anna rightly thought that Development is marred by corruption and started a new venture in 1991 called Bhrashtachar Virodhi Jan Aandolan (BVJA) or public movement against corruption. It was found that some 42 forest officers had duped the state government for crores of rupees through corruption in confederacy. Hazare submitted the evidences to the government but the latter was reluctant to take action against all these officers as one of the ministers of the ruling party was involved in the scam. A distressed Hazare returned the Padmashree Award to the President of India and also returned the Vriksha Mitra Award given by then prime minister of India Rajiv Gandhi.
He further went on an indefinite hunger strike in Alandi on the same issue. Finally, the government woke up from deep slumber and took action against the culprits. Hazare’s sustained campaign on this issue had a great effect - six of the ministers were forced to resign and more than 400 officers from different government offices were sent back to home.
Its the time to ensure our support to Anna as a responsible citizen to curtail and curb corruption. The largest democratic should reach the acme of ahimsa by adapting the weapons of Gandhi. Say 'Cheers to Anna'

Green Hosanna - a unique Experience

"Hoshana" word meaning 'please save or save now' is now more meaningful to me , not by this term but by a new version of thought put forwarded by H.G Geevarghese Mor Coorilos (Bishop of the Syrian Jacobite Church of Malankara and the head of Niranam diocese) - 'SAVE EARTH' This Green Liberation Theologian has done a splendid speech followed by the Holy Communion and Hosanna function at St. Mary’s Jacobite Church Tiruvalla. He started simple with humble words. He has been using an ambassador car for the last 5 years. Many laymen were persuaded him to shift to a posh car to keep the status of a Metropolitan. But he refused to do so only to share the message of sharing.

I really thrilled by our Bishop, he is unique among our metropolitan by his humble actions and simple preaches. By giving a new version to Hosanna , he spoke about the significance of environment conservation. He said “Earth is too hot these days and we are now the victims of our evil doings. We are waving the leaves of palms and it remembers us to think about nature. Plant trees to curb heat and love nature to save earth”. I bowed my head, not only because of his greatness but his love towards nature. Really a new version to Christianity, Bible and Hosanna, I thought about a church with such visionaries.

Once Fr. Mulamoottil commented the same – means, a new version to Christianity. He said “Nature will be the religion of tomorrow as same in the past. I have tried to proclaim this message through my mega work – Cathedral Tiruvalla. A church with multitude of environmental themes. Each and every actions of me gives thrust on nature. This is what we need, that enforces us to think beyond our simple religious thoughts and understand its exact meanings.” Now I am considering him as a veteran of Green Liberation Theologian. I am inserting a meaningful picture of Fr. Mulamoottil – really fires. Charming smile in front of an igniting a lamp.  I have to comment so many thing regarding this photo, but just winding it by writing – “a luminary ignites his vision for the future”.
I rushed to my Bishop and enquired about his simplicity. “Our understanding of God is a communitarian God. God is not an individual, but a community, a family, a collective community of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, perceived as a mother in the oriental tradition. Trinity is an ecological concept, because both trinity and ecology are interconnected. This vision of interconnectedness provides inspiration for us for a model of ecological mission today. In Shankara’s thoughts, this is a cosmo-theandric vision. Sometimes this is misunderstood as pantheism, as if creation would be worshipped. It is panentheism rather than pantheism, it is more biblical than you think it is. The Creator is encountered in the reality of creation.” He said.

So my praises and adorations to shout in recognition of the Messiahship of Jesus on his entry into Jerusalem, Hosanna became fruitful by hearing this cry for salvation of my mother earth. It may be derived that this plea for help is out of an agreeably positive connotation. But I shouted – GO GREEN SAVE EARTH. Thanks My Bishop and Fr. Mulamoottil to teach me new lessons of nature from my nitty gritty – The Holy Bible.
