TV' the first complete health TV channel started its transmission in
Pakistan a year ago received with overwhelmed viewers responses. It was a
project of Dr. Ziauddin Group of Hospitals
which is one of the largest hospital groups in Pakistan. Very few health
TV's are in transmission (New Zealand, London), but a desperate need of
this hour for Kerala community, lives with lachrymose due to manifold
illness. The westernization of western ghatsians and
nearby flamboyant dwellers welcome multitude of health hazards and
gradually the 'God's own country' turns to the land of 'silent killer'
(Hyper Tension) and Diabetics. It is reported that a large number of
kids and youths are affected by type 2 diabetics. When wealth
accumulates (60,000 crore), body fails to sweat, and the blood colludes,
human will race to save their life.
We are almost near to the prophesy of Cree, "When all the trees have been cut down, when all the animals have been hunted, when all the waters are polluted, when all the air is unsafe to breathe, only then will you discover you cannot eat money". Now we are queuing for pure water (Total water availability in Kerala is, a big bottle per person)
The catastrophe designed by You in the MACFAST Calender is not a far future, but it is our next step. This great Vision needs to promulgate every where through this 'Herald of Goodness'
Number of Channels, get bored! All are simply a proxy. Even though Television Channel (not a mere city channel) is a lucrative business, this is a service to human who tiredly wander for health solutions.
You can give more meaning to 'Green' ; as CUKAT VC said "Green has wide meaning with multitude of socio - economic dimensions". Please don't end with a local TV, but with a global TV.
