Abe - Longed for books

It may be an excerpts from John Sutherland's book - A boy who loved books. Its really touching but inspiring. I suggest every parents should suggest this book to there children. A poor boy in the states of America, born and brought up in a poor family, poverty and hungry were the part and parcel of his life. His situation was very plight in the childhood. 

But he striven hard to gain the core of life. He loved books intensely and whenever he got a book, he tried to read with eagerness. His longing, love and attachment towards books made him very efficient. But his parents didn't like this habit and  forced him to move away from this. But he was very consistent in this effort. He really loved Holy Bible, Pilgrims Progress, Aesop's stories and Shakespeare works.   

During his child hood he worked in a local shop for earning. Once he got a book from the shop and he started reading it with great enthusiasm and affinity. The shop owner found this and informed to his father. When his father heard about this he shouted at Abe and gave him nice but hard slap in his mouth. But he pained for a moment but never lose this affinity. 

While reading a book first which was left by some one, with greater curiosity,  he never thought he will became the 16th President of his great Nation. But it happened. The perseverance, affinity and hard work of Abe - an orphan like boy to a refugee to the people of America.

Possible. Absolutely Nothing is impossible. If you work hard with greater perseverance and enthusiasm. God will support you in all your ways. When you take one step God will equip you to take 5 steps.

Let's remember the words of Bill Gates " Born as poor is not your problem but die as a poor is only your problem". 

another tragedy- Hooch Diaster

We again witnessed a fake drug tragedy in Malappuram - spotly Kuttippuram and Vettoor. This is not a fresh news to Kerala people and they are familiar to these type of hot updates. But why we just hear and leave it simply. Some times I thought these tragedies are good to our society because it take away some useless fellows from the earth.But in another side we should consider them as a human being.

What is the solution to transform this plight situation of families. The lush, beautiful and pristine Kerala which vegetated by paddy and coconut, exactly the coconut tree which is the source of toddy.  A HEALTHY COCONUT AND PALM TREE CAN PRODUCE A GOOD SOME OF TODDY DRINK.But the situation prevails like flowing the fake drink without having any authentic source of production.Only one percentage of supply is available and we are  fulfilling the whole supply with fake ingredient. The Government which stay with its decision and not ready to control the poisonous drinks. They demanded that the banning will take away the lion part of our revenue. But they have no concern about the life of  ordinary people. 

The stark fact is that the cost of medical treatment for the drunkards exceeds this revenue. In addition to this , this evil, addict and poisonous drink crawl crores of life to the hell.The minister Gurudasan, a humiliation to the Kerala people remarked that he will take action if find that toddy contained any poison. He make folly the people by forgetting twenty five who died in this incident. he thought only five were murdered.    

Now the question remains. What is the source of this hooch?
Who allows this illicit flow?


The need of the hour is government should take prompt action against the lucrative and evil business people those who supplied fake drink. In addition to this they should close all the toddy shops and replace it by innovative ventures. So that we can rehabilitate all who associated with it. A honest audit is required before this, in order to identify the status quo. 

The retail outlets operated by the beverage cooperation, they can supply pure toddy through their outlet and sustain the toddy tappers and their traditional jobs.

The most tile party in India is creating these problems in Kerala.  Lets move for a positive shift and equip them to join this campaign.  

Kathayallithu Jeevitham - A humiliation to humanity

Those who like to sell there strife, discords, disputes and conflicts can approach Amrutha TV. But you should ready to fight in public and willing for strong verbal curses. The program Katahayallithu Jeevitham launched by Amrithu TV provides you this golden opportunity. In the name of corporate social responsibility this channel has been telecasting this real life reality show for the last few months. They argued that it is an effort to solve the critical issues faced by laymen which disturbs there personal as well as family life. It branded in a tag line “Not a story - but Raw Life" and proclaimed that it is a - "Real - Life Real Show".

Obviously, it is a real life show and the contestants have strong vigor with abuse languages.  It is really enjoyable to those who have hard and outstanding hearts. It is model to all reality shows. Normally many of the sociologists argued against reality shows. Probably it may right and take away huge amount of money from the contestants. But frankly speaking it gives a fame and media figure to many of them and what lacking is that it ignores the reality. Critics demand that media should take responsibility to bring forward the disadvantaged groups and not the elites who spend lavishly for competitions.

Now the question is who benefit out of this program – Kathayallithu Jeevitham? Contestants, anchors, audience, judges and Producer? This is the apparent difference of this reality show. I supported there caption - “Life is not a drama; but real”. But what drama happens in Amritha TV on every Saturdays and Sundays? There is nothing wrong if people think the participants get large amount for playing in the screen. This amount provides them energy to loudly shout in front of the Camera. I really worried about the fate of these people who were the scapegoat of this drama. May be there hopeless life creped them to this play. Vidhubala who has hardly any business came forward to anchor this catastrophic event. I think it is a humiliation to the humanity those advocates, psychologists and social workers who played inside the curtain of this cinema story. Probably they may not have even any business. The most unfortunate fact is that Kerala State Legal Service Society dances in this drama.

Who thinks this is the platform to solve conflicts and personal strife and who learns lessons from this never ending chapter of this drama. I don’t think the stamps and a seal of KELSA is not enough to find an everlasting solution to strugglers. If Yes, I can bring thousand of people who have trapped in worrisome. I am totally ashamed of all the stake holders of this program. These temporary agreements which is to proclaim the mammoth effort of TV and KELSA is not a permanent solution and this is not a platform to resolve issues. We have well designed and systematic judiciary and platform, courts, evening courts, family dispute resolution centre, dispute resolution forum, mobile courts and this list prolongs. These mechanisms are resolving large number of disputes in every months and this cheap rate program with huge investment resolve limited issues in a year.

I think the action on this moment is those who associate with this program should come forward to resolve issues in different platforms and Amritha TV can constitute a mechanism for there name. This can effectively resolve large number of issues. As a prominent organization and well organized visions in charity people expect such efforts from the media. They should follow the path of Amma not the path of mammon. There is nothing good in adopting all the cultures without considering the values of human and life. 

We are expected to admit, learn and promot good shows like 'Green Kerala Express" a brain child of Sajan - Dooradarshan. It really bring some good efforts of local self governments. This unsung success stories inspire all the people and motivate us to implement the same in our own location. The price money can use for the development of    local people.It is hour to think differently and off the face from this type of events.  

Real Salvation

I invite all my friends to hear some views. May not be interesting but will be interesting when feel the real taste.

As Holy Bible says, irrespectively all are sinned in the world and not eligible for heaven.

who died for you? Who gave a promise to his followers when leaving the world - "I will come back to collect you"

Yes. It is Jesus Christ, Who died for us and gave that promise.Again read slowly what Bible says "But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us".

Once our first parents Adam and Haowa pushed away from Eden because of sin. After that God was in great worry because of his creators. So God made a plan and sent his son - Jesus to the world. He died for the whole human. He crucified for the sin of whole world. After that he unveiled the stoppage of Roman and resurrected.

Dear friends, if you believe God will gift you the salvation and heaven. It is not a matter who you are, where you are, what is your past etc. Only thing just believe God and pray. 

My beloved brother, are you in worrisome?

Are you in debt?

Are you suffered by diseases?

Are you weep about your future, father, mother, children............................ anything God is ready to help you.

Shall we pray

My God Jesus. I know you are the only God and real Saviour. I believe you died for me and pained for my sins. In this moment I accept you as my Saviour and God. Please pardon my sins. Please lead me. Please come to my heart. Thank you Jesus.

Maoism Veettil...... Lorry Marry Poi....

Now, the the land of Indian's is changing to a paradise of Maoists.A good some of people on  Northern states  are strongly influenced by the ideology of Maoists. In addition to this, our good neighboring country Nepal an existing Maoist refugee, sourcing these power to India. 

A new initiative called 'Operation Green Hunt' becomes a vein effort. Our honorable Home minister P. Chidambaram who  cares national security exclusively continuously baffling with idioms.He repeatedly failing to ensure our national security aspects. Obviously, Maoism is a big threat to India. This evil power successfully fighting against the constitution and the Government. 

The apparent thing is that many of the Indians still in poverty and hunger. This peril situation helps them to create a gang of anti Government group and grabs sufficient support from suppressed people. They succeed in convincing our people that this plight situation happened only because of the incapability and carelessness  of  our Government and in order to change this worst situation, we need a new Government and Ideology.  That may push us to a bad situation. Clearly this is a stark fact and the Government is expected to act on this regard by protecting our people instead of bloody revolution against Maoists.. 

So the Government should actively intervene to overwhelm the evils like poverty, inequality, unemployment etc.which kills our nation. Not a military operation but an empowering operation like MGNREGA and Food Security Bill is expected.

Honour Killing

Now the act of honour killing turned to a trend in middle India.In a developed world with secularism as the face of a constitution - India , the largest democratic country in the world still faces a humiliation to humanity. Massacres in the name of caste which depletes the democratic rights of Indian citizens and threatened our fundamental rights. The Khap Panchayaths in Hariyana, Punjanb, Bengal and Tamil nadu hunting those who violating there rules and norms.As their rule no one has the right to marry a person outside their caste and inside their clan.

A poor but a bold Journalist from Tamil Nadu who sacrificed her native land by fearing the Local Khap Panchayaths' decision. Khap Panchayath opposed her move to became a journalist and they commended that women are not expected to do these jobs. But she boldly and anomaly considered that as a  challenge and gone with her career. Her neighbors, friends even family strongly opposed her decisions and throw out  from her mother village. Still she lives alone as a Journalist in Mumbai. She said. " Fortunately I never killed by my villages and every one is simply less than an atom  in front of the powerful Khap Panchayath". 

According to the studies there are at least 1000 people dying every year in the name of honor killing. Now Khap Panchayath demanded that The Hindu Marriage Act should amend and  their demands should include in the Hindu Marriage act.

Who can stop this parallel rule?

രണ്ടുപേര്‍ കണ്ടുമുട്ടിയാല്‍ ചോദ്യമാണ്. നാലുപേര്‍ കൂടുന്നിടത്തെല്ലാം ചര്‍ച്ചയാണ്. പത്രമോഫീസുകളില്‍ വിളിയോട് വിളി. പാര്‍ട്ടി ഓഫീസ് സെക്രട്ടറിമാര്‍ ഫോണില്‍ മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു മടത്തു. എല്ലാവര്‍ക്കും അറിയേണ്ടത് ഒറ്റക്കാര്യം; ഹര്‍ത്താലുണ്ടോ?

പെട്രോള്‍ വിലവര്‍ധനവിനെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന് വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച വൈകീട്ടാണ് ഒരു ഹര്‍ത്താലിനെക്കുറിച്ച് അറിയിപ്പ് വന്നത്. അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ ശനിയാഴ്ച ഹര്‍ത്താല്‍ 'ആഘോഷമാക്കാന്‍ ' എല്ലാവര്‍ക്കും കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല. ഞായറാഴ്ച പൊതുഅവധി. അതങ്ങനെ പോട്ടെ......തിങ്കളാഴ്ച കൂടി ഒരു ഹര്‍ത്താല്‍ ഒത്തുകിട്ടിയാല്‍ ഗംഭീരമായി. നാട്ടുകാര്‍ ഇങ്ങനെ ചിന്തിക്കുന്നതില്‍ തെറ്റില്ല. ഈ ചിന്ത വന്നാല്‍ പിന്നെ വിവരാന്വേഷണമാണ്. കഴിഞ്ഞ രണ്ടുദിവസമായി തലസ്ഥാനത്തെ പത്രമോഫീസുകളിലെ ഫോണുകള്‍ക്ക് വിശ്രമമില്ല. നാട്ടുകാരുടെയും ബന്ധുക്കളുടെയും സുഹൃത്തുക്കളുടെയും 'ഹര്‍ത്താല്‍ സ്‌നേഹാന്വേഷണങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ' മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞ് മടുത്താണ് മാധ്യമപ്രവര്‍ത്തകരില്‍ പലരും ഓഫീസുകളിലെത്തിയത്. അവിടെയാണ് യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ പുകില്. കാസര്‍കോട് മുതല്‍ കന്യാകുമാരി വരെയുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് അറിയേണ്ടത് ഒറ്റക്കാര്യം മാത്രം-തിങ്കളാഴ്ച ഹര്‍ത്താലുണ്ടോ? ഇല്ലെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ പിന്നെ ചോദ്യംചെയ്യലായി. '' ഒറപ്പാണോ സാറെ ? ആരും അനൗണ്‍സ് ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ലേ?'' വീണ്ടും ഇല്ലെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ പിന്നെ ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവഹിക്കുകയായി. ''കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്സ് സര്‍ക്കാരിനെതിരെ എല്‍.ഡി.എഫ് അല്ലേ ഹര്‍ത്താല്‍ നടത്തിയത്. അപ്പോള്‍ ബി.ജെ.പി ഒന്നും ഡിക്ലേര്‍ ചെയ്തില്ലേ ? '' ...വീണ്ടും അതേ ഉത്തരം. വീണ്ടും ചോദ്യം '' ...ഇന്നലെ പാല്‍ക്കുളങ്ങരയില്‍ ഒരാളെ വെട്ടിയ കേസില്‍ ഹര്‍ത്താലുണ്ടോ?.....അതിനും ഇല്ലെന്ന് മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ ചെവിക്കടി തന്നപോലെ ഫോണ്‍ വച്ച് ടിയാന്‍ പരിധിക്ക് പുറത്താകും. പെട്രോള്‍ കേസിലും വെട്ടുകേസിലും ഹര്‍ത്താല്‍ ഇല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച വ്യാപാരി വ്യവസായികള്‍ ഹര്‍ത്താല്‍ ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടോയെന്ന് ആകാംക്ഷാഭരിതരായി ചോദിച്ചവരും നൂറുകണക്കിനാണ്. ഇല്ലെന്ന് പറയുമ്പോള്‍ ജൂലായ് ഒന്നിന് ആരെങ്കിലും ഹര്‍ത്താല്‍ പറഞ്ഞുവെച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോയെന്നായി ചോദ്യം. മഅദനിയെ അറസ്റ്റു ചെയ്താല്‍ ഹര്‍ത്താലുണ്ടാകുമോ എന്നു ചോദിക്കുന്നവരും തര്‍ക്കിക്കുന്നവരും അനവധി. നിയമസഭ കൂടുന്നതിന് മുന്നോടിയായി.....റോഡിലെ കുഴി മൂടാത്തതില്‍ പ്രതിഷേധിച്ച്.....തട്ട വിവാദത്തില്‍ പ്രതിഷേധിച്ച്....സിനിമാക്കാരനെ തല്ലിയതില്‍ മനംനൊന്ത്.....ഹര്‍ത്താലിനുവേണ്ടി ജനത്തിന്റെ പ്രതീക്ഷകള്‍ പുതിയ വിഷയങ്ങളിലേക്ക് വ്യാപരിക്കുകയാണ്. പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്ന മറുപടി കിട്ടാതെ വരുമ്പോള്‍ ഹര്‍ത്താല്‍ വിവര ശൂന്യനായ പത്രക്കാരനോട് അരിശംമൂത്ത് ഫോണ്‍ വയ്ക്കുന്നവരും നിരവധി. 

തിങ്കളാഴ്ച അതിരാവിലെ തന്നെ ഹര്‍ത്താല്‍ റൂമര്‍ പരന്നു. തലസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഒരാളെ വെട്ടിയതിന് പകരം കണ്ണൂരില്‍ മറുവെട്ടുണ്ടായെന്നും ബി.ജെ.പി സംസ്ഥാന വ്യാപക ഹര്‍ത്താലിന് ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും കഥ പ്രചരിച്ചു. പിന്നെ അത് 'കണ്‍ഫേം' ചെയ്യാന്‍ ഫോണ്‍ വിളിയും ചര്‍ച്ചയും.

നാട്ടുകാരുടെ 'ഹര്‍ത്താല്‍ അന്വേഷണം' കൊണ്ട് ഇരിക്കപ്പൊറുതിയില്ലാതായെന്ന് ബി.ജെ.പി. തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജില്ലാ ഓഫീസില്‍ അന്വേഷിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ മറുപടി കിട്ടി.

തിങ്കളാഴ്ച പകല്‍ വിളിച്ചു തളര്‍ന്ന പലരും വൈകീട്ടോടെ വീണ്ടും അന്വേഷണമാരംഭിച്ചു. ഇല്ലെന്ന് മറുപടി പറയുന്നവരോട് നീരസമായി. പറഞ്ഞത് മാറിയോയെന്നറിയാന്‍ സ്വരം മാറ്റി വിളിച്ചു. ഹര്‍ത്താല്‍ ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്യാത്ത രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരെ മുഴുവനും ശപിച്ച്, ഹര്‍ത്താല്‍ പ്രിയര്‍ ഹൃദയം നൊന്തിരിക്കുകയാണ്, അടുത്ത ഹര്‍ത്താല്‍ ആഹ്വാനം ആസ്വദിക്കാന്‍.
